Celtic Defender Maik Nawrocki Poised to Join RC Lens
Celtic’s Maik Nawrocki (25) is reportedly set to join RC Lens, according to information from Foot Mercato.
Under contract with the Bhoys until May 2028, the Polish defender is coming off a successful season with Hannover 96, where he had been on loan since last summer. Having made 18 appearances for the German club, Nawrocki started 17 of those matches, scoring no fewer than three goals and providing three assists.

Signed by Celtic from Legia Warsaw for €5m in the summer of 2023, the Bremen-born player who came through the ranks at Werder never really established himself in Scotland, as evidenced by his meagre 18 appearances (one goal) for the Glasgow club.
Should he join Lens, Nawrocki would already become the Sang et Or’s fifth signing of this summer transfer window, which has already seen Saud Abdulhamid (26), Thorgan Hazard (33), Michaël Cuisance (26) and Michał Skóraś (26) move to northern France.
