Juventus and AS Roma Pursue Julian Brandt as Premier League Clubs Show Interest

Juventus and AS Roma are keen on signing Julian Brandt this summer, according to Gianluca DiMarzio.

The former Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder is currently a free agent, and both Serie A clubs are actively pursuing him.

Despite their interest, Brandt is more likely to join a Premier League team, with several clubs looking to secure his services.

The 30-year-old remains a talented playmaker, capable of contributing to the success of top and mid-table teams in the English Premier League.

Last season, the German international scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 41 appearances, bringing his total for BVB to 57 goals and 70 assists over 307 matches since his transfer from Bayer Leverkusen.

While Brandt has not consistently met early career expectations due to fluctuations in performance, he can still be an exceptional player when in form.

Transitioning to a new environment might offer him a fresh start, although potential Premier League suitors may be concerned about his physicality and tendency to fade in matches.

Bournemouth Could Be Ideal for Brandt

Bournemouth might be the frontrunner if they are serious about enhancing their creativity and experience for their inaugural European campaign.

Brandt would not only provide worthy competition for Justin Kluivert but also offer the versatility to play centrally or on either flank, adding depth to the Cherries’ attack.

His prior experience with Marco Rose at Borussia Dortmund serves as an additional advantage, as they already possess a mutual understanding of each other’s tactical approaches.

This familiarity could enable Brandt to settle in quickly and make a substantial impact on the field.

As Bournemouth prepares for the increased demands of European football, Bournemouth requires proven quality and depth instead of relying solely on a few core players each week.

Securing Brandt on a free transfer presents a low-risk opportunity with the potential to rank among the most astute signings of the summer.
