ഉദിനീസ് പുതിയൊരു ഫുട്ബോൾ ടൂർണമെന്റിന് ആതിഥേയത്വം വഹിക്കാൻ ഒരുങ്ങുന്നു. ‘ഫ്രിയുലി വെനീസിയ ഗിയുലിയ കപ്പ്’ എന്ന് പേരിട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ടൂർണമെന്റിൽ ബാഴ്സലോണയും നോട്ടിങ്ഹാം ഫോറസ്റ്റുമാണ് മറ്റ് ടീമുകളായി എത്തുന്നത്. ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 8-ന് ബ്ലൂ എനർജി സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തിലാണ് മത്സരങ്ങൾ നടക്കുന്നത്.
Udinese have announced they are hosting Barcelona and Nottingham Forest in a new tournament on August 8 at the Bluenergy Stadium.
This is one of the most modern arenas in Italian football and was already chosen as the venue for the 2025 edition of the UEFA Super Cup.
Now it will light up again for a new tournament, called the Friuli Venezia Giulia Cup.

Barcelona already played here in a Champions League match against Udinese in December 2005, but it will be the first time Nottingham Forest have been on this soil.
The competition will be made up of three 45-minute games to decide a winner of the trophy.
It begins with Udinese vs. Nottingham Forest at 20.00 local time (19.00 in the UK), then Barcelona vs. Nottingham Forest, and finally the hosts vs. Barcelona.
If they are tied at the final whistle, it goes directly to a penalty shoot-out.
Whoever wins on the field gets three points, on penalties it is divided into two points for the winner and one for the losing side.
