Bahia, Mirassol, and Red Bull Bragantino Showcase Action in Brasileirão Matches
Three matches energized the night this Friday (17) in the 2026 Brasileirão. One of these games was postponed from the fourth round, while the other two were from the 19th round.
Bahia confirmed their favoritism against the bottom side in Salvador.
They defeated Chapecoense 2-0 with goals from Rodrigo Nestor and Román Gómez, both scored in the first half.
Another member of the bottom four, Mirassol bounced back by defeating Grêmio 2-1.
The goals were scored by Bruno Santos, who made his debut that night, and Edison Negueba, before Grêmio’s top scorer Carlos Vinícius pulled one back.
At the Maracanã, Red Bull Bragantino led against Fluminense until the 58th minute, thanks to a goal from Sasha. But Tricolor made it 1-1 after a brawl, punches thrown, and red cards.
