Roma Pursues New Winger Options After Failed Signing Attempts
Roma explored various avenues to secure the signing of Summerville, but Al Hilal swiftly presented a substantial offer, persuading both West Ham and the player to relocate to Saudi Arabia.
The Giallorossi are now assessing alternative wingers to bolster their attack.

A number of players have surfaced as potential additions to the Roma lineup, including Nusa, Godts, and Schjelderup, although progress in these pursuits remains tentative for several reasons.
D’Amico is striving to find the right fit to satisfy Gian Piero Gasperini, who is yet to see his first transfer come to fruition.
Roma is in search of a winger who can fill the void left by Greenwood and Summerville, two priority targets that ultimately did not materialize. As per Matteo Moretto, the club has shown interest in Nusa and has engaged in discussions to gauge the possibility of a transfer. However, the 2005-born winger has yet to fully convince everyone at Trigoria.
The Norwegian winger has battled physical issues and previously failed a medical examination for a transfer to Brentford. Currently, he is not a standout option, especially with Leipzig showing keen interest and unwillingness to negotiate a low-cost deal.

Ajax’s Godts is also under consideration. The winger, also born in 2005, has a valuation of around €60 million and may opt to remain in the Netherlands for another year instead of changing clubs.
Meanwhile, the Schjelderup prospect appears unlikely, as Benfica has placed a price tag of approximately €60 million on him. A Premier League club is also eyeing the Norwegian winger, who is receptive to exploring new opportunities.
