Roma is actively seeking a winger to enhance head coach Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad. The club has recently turned its attention to Norwegian player Oscar Bobb after an unsuccessful attempt to sign Crysencio Summerville.

According to Retesport, Bobb has been identified by sporting director Tony D’Amico as a potential target. Born in 2003, the winger developed through the youth ranks at Manchester City before being transferred to Fulham last winter for approximately €30 million.

Given this background, Fulham’s asking price is unlikely to deviate significantly from the sum paid to the Citizens. This summer, Bobb represented his national team at the World Cup, though he did not manage to score or assist during his 233 minutes on the field. His performance for both City and Fulham this season has been modest; in 31 appearances, he has recorded just one assist. Gasperini will have considerable potential for development with Bobb should the transfer proceed.
