Newly signed Crystal Palace player Zavier Gozo has assured fans to expect a dynamic style of play from him. The 19-year-old forward has moved from Major League Soccer (MLS) team Real Salt Lake, where he signed a five-year contract at Selhurst Park in a transfer valued at $15 million (£11.1 million).

During his time at Real Salt Lake, Gozo scored six goals and contributed four assists in the first 16 league matches this season. His impressive performance earned him a selection for the 2026 MLS All-Star Game.

“I’m really looking forward to playing in the Premier League with Crystal Palace,” Gozo stated in an interview with Palace TV. “It is the dream of any footballer.”

Gozo expressed enthusiasm about the club’s project and the potential for his development. “The people and the club environment are top,” he highlighted. “I would describe myself as a dynamic player. I like to run in behind but I also like to run with the ball, dribble, shoot and score goals.”

He conveyed excitement about contributing to the club’s recent successes, stating, “I’m excited to play and score some goals for this team.” Reflecting on his childhood, Gozo mentioned, “I used to wake up every morning to watch the games. Me and my brother used to watch all of the Premier League highlights with my dad. It’s crazy to think that I could be in those highlights now!”
