एवर्टन मिडफील्डर जेम्स गार्नर का लक्ष्य काराबाओ कप जीतना
एवर्टन के मिडफील्डर जेम्स गार्नर ने वॉल्व्स के खिलाफ 1-0 की जीत के बाद बीबीसी रेडियो मर्सीसाइड से बातचीत की। इस जीत के साथ ही एवर्टन ने काराबाओ कप के चौथे दौर में अपनी जगह पक्की कर ली है।
गार्नर ने कहा, “हमने इस बारे में काफी चर्चा की है। हम इस साल कप में अच्छा प्रदर्शन करना चाहते हैं। हम केवल इसमें भाग नहीं लेना चाहते, बल्कि हम आगे बढ़कर इसे जीतना चाहते हैं। यह सही दिशा में उठाया गया एक कदम है।”
जब उनसे पूछा गया कि क्या एवर्टन इस साल दोनों कप प्रतियोगिताओं को जीतने का लक्ष्य रख सकता है, तो उन्होंने कहा, “मुझे नहीं लगता कि ऐसा क्यों नहीं हो सकता। इस क्लब ने लंबे समय से कोई ट्रॉफी नहीं जीती है, इसलिए इस सीजन में एक ट्रॉफी जीतना अच्छा होगा। हम देखते हैं कि हम क्या कर सकते हैं!”
Everton midfielder James Garner spoke to BBC Radio Merseyside after helping his side reach the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a 1-0 win over Wolves.
Garner said: “We’ve spoken about it a lot, we want to have a good cup run this year, we don’t want to just participate, we want to go on and win it. It’s a step in the right direction.”

On whether Everton feel like they can really target both cup competitions this year, he added: “I don’t see why not. This club hasn’t won a trophy in a long time so it’d be good to try to get one this season. We’ll see what we can do!”
