गिरोंडिन्स डी बोर्डो का संकट टला, पार्क बेंच ने 1 यूरो में खरीदी क्लब की हिस्सेदारी
फ्रांसीसी फुटबॉल क्लब गिरोंडिन्स डी बोर्डो के लिए राहत की खबर है। क्लब ने पुष्टि की है कि पार्क बेंच ने जेरार्ड लोपेज़ से क्लब को केवल 1 यूरो के प्रतीकात्मक शुल्क पर खरीदने पर सहमति व्यक्त की है, जिससे क्लब के लिक्विडेशन (समापन) का खतरा टल गया है।
पिछले पूरे गर्मियों के सीजन में क्लब का भविष्य अनिश्चितता के घेरे में रहा। हाल के वर्षों में खराब वित्तीय प्रबंधन के कारण क्लब का प्रदर्शन लगातार गिरता गया और उसे निचली डिवीजन में जाना पड़ा। सितंबर की शुरुआत में क्लब को राष्ट्रीय लीग से बाहर कर दिया गया था। इसके बाद ‘रीजनल 1’ से शुरुआत करना भी मुश्किल लग रहा था और क्लब अस्तित्व बचाने के लिए संघर्ष कर रहा था। इस दौरान खरीदारों की तलाश की गई और कई समझौते अंतिम चरण तक पहुंचकर अटक गए थे।
अब पार्क बेंच ने संघर्षरत इस दिग्गज क्लब की खरीद प्रक्रिया पूरी कर ली है। कंपनी 1 यूरो के प्रतीकात्मक शुल्क पर फ्रांसीसी क्लब का अधिग्रहण करेगी और साथ ही क्लब पर मौजूद भारी कर्ज की जिम्मेदारी भी लेगी। अब खरीदारों का साक्षात्कार ‘नवेल-अकीटेन फुटबॉल लीग’ के क्षेत्रीय प्रबंधन नियंत्रण आयोग (Regional Management Control Commission) द्वारा लिया जाएगा। यदि यह साक्षात्कार सफल रहता है, तो खरीद प्रक्रिया औपचारिक रूप से पूरी हो जाएगी।
सोशल मीडिया पर एक पोस्ट में गिरोंडिन्स डी बोर्डो ने इस सौदे को क्लब के भविष्य के लिए “एक बड़ा कदम” बताया है।
Girondins de Bordeaux look set to avoid liquidation after the club confirmed that Park Bench had agreed to purchase the club for a symbolic fee of €1 from Gérard Lopez.
The club’s future has been in the balance all summer. At the start of September, the club, who have tumbled down the divisions in recent seasons amid catastrophic financial mismanagement, were excluded from the national leagues. Restarting in the Regional 1 also looked unlikely, with the club in a fight simply to survive. Buyers have been sought and multiple deals have been close to completion but have not gotten over the line.

But Park Bench have now completed the purchase of the toiling giants. The firm will buy the French club for a symbolic €1, it was confirmed, with the buyers taking on the considerable debts. The buyers will now be interviewed by the Regional Management Control Commission of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Football League. Should that interview prove successful, the purchase will be completed.
In a post on social media, Girondins de Bordeaux described the deal as “a major step” in the club’s future.
