Frosinone’s Kvernadze Draws Attention After Stellar Performance Against Lecce
Frosinone’s remarkable performance in Serie A continues to capture attention, with Massimiliano Alvini’s squad emerging as a standout this season. The Gialloblu dominated Lecce with a decisive 5-1 win yesterday, solidifying their position near the top of the league table.
Giorgi Kvernadze, the Georgian attacking winger, shone brightly during the match, contributing two assists in a standout performance. His recent displays have attracted interest from several clubs, notably Roma, which is looking to bolster its attacking options.
Coach Gian Piero Gasperini seeks wingers with specific attributes, and Kvernadze, born in 2003, fits the profile that has caught the eyes at Trigoria. According to Nicolò Schira, Roma has already made inquiries regarding the player’s availability.
However, competition for Kvernadze’s signature is heating up, with interest also noted from clubs like Crystal Palace, Monaco, and Everton, owned by the Friedkin family.
