Endrick Keeps Options Open Amid Loan Interest from Serie A Clubs
According to AS, Real Madrid forward Endrick has not ruled out a possible exit during the January transfer window, as he continues to face challenges in securing consistent playing time.
The Brazilian striker, who is only 20 years old, has attracted serious interest from Serie A clubs AS Roma and AC Milan, both of which are considering a loan move for him this winter.
Endrick Seeks More Playing Time
Endrick has struggled to find playing time this season, suffering an injury in pre-season that sidelined him for several initial matches. The competition within Real Madrid’s attacking lineup remains fierce, limiting his opportunities.
This season, he has managed only 107 minutes across four matches in all competitions. Given the current circumstances, a January departure seems possible, as Endrick understands the difficulties in establishing a regular spot in the Real Madrid squad.
Despite these challenges, he remains undecided on his future and wishes to explore his chances of gaining a more significant role, having had discussions with manager José Mourinho.
The manager has expressed a strong desire to keep Endrick in the team and made his stance clear during a recent press conference, stating, “Endrick is a player I absolutely adore, a player I believe has huge potential and who is very important to us.” He further mentioned, “Anyone interested in him will have to fight me hard, because I believe he does not need to go out on loan and that he’ll have massive success here.”
Interest from Serie A Continues
AS Roma is among the clubs looking to acquire Endrick. They almost secured his transfer during the summer but the move fell through due to Mourinho’s intervention.
AC Milan has also shown interest in signing the young player on loan as the winter transfer window approaches.
The upcoming November and December fixtures may play a crucial role in Endrick’s decision-making. Real Madrid is set to compete in seven La Liga matches, including games against Racing Santander, Valencia, Celta Vigo, Alaves, Athletic Club, Osasuna, and Deportivo de La Coruña. Additionally, they have three Champions League matches lined up against AEK Athens, PSV Eindhoven, and Arsenal.
The extent to which Endrick participates in these ten upcoming matches could significantly influence whether he stays with Real Madrid or opts for a loan move elsewhere.
