Headline: Lille OSC Faces Challenge with Key Player Absences Ahead of UEFA Champions League Match
Lille OSC prepares for a tough encounter against Bodo/Glimt in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night, missing several crucial players from their squad. Among those absent is Nabil Bentaleb, who played a significant role in Lille’s recent victory over RC Lens but is sidelined due to illness.
Head coach Davide Ancelotti also faces the challenge of not having Ethan Mbappé, who is currently suspended, along with Ayase Ueda. Additionally, winger Basar Onal will not make the trip as he has struggled to find his form since moving to France last summer.
In the absence of Ueda, it appears that Hakon Arnar Haraldsson is set to take on the No.9 role, while Soriba Diaoune may retain his position on the left after impressing in his recent performances.
