Football insider Hand of Arsenal reported Monday evening that William Saliba has returned to full training with Arsenal, having previously engaged in individual training since early October.
Saliba has not played since July 14th, marking over three months of absence from the pitch. However, he is now vying for a spot in the matchday squad.
According to Ryan Taylor of Football.London, Saliba is making a determined effort to be part of Arsenal’s lineup for the Slavia Praha match on Wednesday. While Taylor notes that there are no guarantees, reports from Saliba’s circle are favorable.

Hand of Arsenal supports this view, with both sources indicating that Saliba’s participation will rest on his performance in Arsenal’s concluding training sessions.

Saliba’s inclusion for the Slavia Praha match may not significantly influence the game, as it is one that Arsenal is expected to win. Defender Ezri Konsa has effectively filled in during Saliba’s absence.
However, Saliba’s return could prove crucial for upcoming matches later this month, including an away game against Newcastle United and home fixtures against Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City.
In early December, Arsenal faces Tottenham Hotspur away followed by a home encounter with Real Madrid. Having Saliba back for these matches could have a substantial impact.
