João Neves, the 22-year-old midfielder, has expressed his desire to remain at Paris Saint-Germain for the entirety of his football career. The product of the Benfica academy stated that he has no plans to transfer to clubs in Spain or England.

Neves joined PSG in the summer of 2024 and has already celebrated two UEFA Champions League victories during his time with Les Parisiens. He plays a vital role in Luis Enrique’s midfield alongside fellow Portuguese player Vitinha. Although he faced challenges at the beginning of the current season, Neves has participated in 11 matches across all competitions and scored his first goal of the season against Villarreal on Tuesday night.

In an interview with Canal Plus, he revealed his aspiration to complete his career at Parc des Princes, stating, “João wants to stay here his whole career.”

He elaborated, “I don’t have the objective of going to Spain or England. I have an objective, and it is to feel good in my life and to win here.” Recently, Neves renewed his contract with PSG, which now runs until the summer of 2031. During his time with the club, he has made 108 appearances, scoring 15 goals and providing 16 assists.
