Hull FC has officially announced the immediate release of forward James Bell.
The 32-year-old player had joined the Black and Whites ahead of the 2026 season and made 18 appearances during his time at the club.
Prior to joining Hull FC, Bell spent four years with St Helens, where he scored nine tries in 81 matches.
The club stated that the decision was made to allow Bell “to take up an opportunity with another Super League club in 2027”.
