Bafana Bafana returned to OR Tambo International Airport this morning, but one notable player was missing: Oswin Appollis.

Reports suggest that Appollis is close to securing a move abroad following his standout performance at the World Cup. His impressive showing has attracted attention from clubs in Major League Soccer (MLS) as well as Portuguese powerhouse FC Porto.

The Orlando Pirates midfielder appears set to follow in the footsteps of his teammate Relebohile Mofokeng, who recently joined Belgian club ST Gilloise. Mofokeng did not return with the team, as he is already settled in Belgium.
