Return to Klagenfurt
This match marks another visit to the southern Austrian city, situated near the Slovenian border, for the Spanish giants.
Real Madrid previously traveled to Klagenfurt during their 2021 pre-season to face AC Milan in a summer friendly.
The club also played in Austria last summer, where they secured a victory against WSG Tirol in Innsbruck as part of their preparations.
Second friendly confirmed
This fixture is the second pre-season match confirmed by Real Madrid as the team begins preparations for the upcoming campaign under manager Jose Mourinho.
In addition to the match against Fiorentina, Los Blancos will compete against newly-promoted La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna in the Teresa Herrera Trophy on August 12.

Reports indicate that the club has arranged four friendlies in total to be played across Spain and other European nations, with two of these matches now confirmed.
Club officials are also evaluating the possibility of one additional behind-closed-doors match should Mourinho decide the squad needs more playing time before the league season begins.
