Former Plymouth Argyle left-back Nathanael Ogbeta has officially joined Portuguese club Maritimo.

The 25-year-old defender became a free agent in May after the Pilgrims released him at the conclusion of his contract.

He served as the first signing made by the club after Wayne Rooney was appointed as head coach in May 2024.

During his initial campaign with Argyle, the former Swansea City player made 20 appearances. He subsequently spent the entirety of last season on loan at Barnsley.
