Crysencio Summerville in Advanced Talks for Transfer to Roma

Sportitalia transfer pundit Alfredo Pedullà claims that Roma have a basic deal for Crysencio Summerville with West Ham United for under €50m (£42.6m), despite interest from Aston Villa, Tottenham, and Manchester United.

While there has been significant discussion regarding a release clause set at €53m, it was clarified that this is more of a gentleman’s agreement in the event of relegation from the Premier League rather than an official clause in the contract.

While talkSPORT report today that Aston Villa, Manchester United, and Tottenham are monitoring the situation closely, they may be too late to make a move.

According to Sportitalia’s Pedullà insists that a basic deal is already in place with Roma for a package just under €50m, and they are currently finalizing the details.

This aligns with information shared by another Italian pundit, Eleonora Trotta, on Monday.

The agreement is expected to total around €45-46m, plus add-ons, to finalize the deal.

Furthermore, the presence of Donyell Malen at Roma and his impressive performance since moving to Serie A reportedly helped make Summerville’s mind up, along with the team’s Champions League qualification.
