The new Real Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho, has been assessing the available players for the past week and a half. After leading several training sessions during this preseason, it appears he has already made decisions regarding the futures of some players.

This is particularly true for young forward Franco Mastantuono, as SPORT cites Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Mourinho has given the green light for the Argentine’s departure on loan.

While Mourinho does not seem to count on him for the upcoming season, Real Madrid is not ready to part ways with him permanently. Therefore, there will be no purchase clause in his loan contract. Endrick’s loan with Lyon last season provides optimism at Real Madrid that, similar to the Brazilian, Mastantuono can regain his form through a loan.

Although it remains unclear where Mastantuono will play next season, he has received interest from multiple clubs. The report states that there are offers from up to five different clubs, both in Spain and abroad, keen on the forward, despite his challenging first season in Europe. One of these sides is the Premier League club Fulham, where Alvaro Arbeloa recently took charge of the first team.

There is no doubt that his first season at Real Madrid was underwhelming. Arriving as a promising talent, both Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa provided him ample opportunities to demonstrate his skills with the club. However, he struggled to capitalize on these chances, scoring only three goals in thirty-five appearances.

It is hoped that Franco Mastantuono will finalize a loan deal soon, enabling him to improve his performance and return to Real Madrid next year as an even stronger player.
