Christ Inao Oulai Excited to Join Fiorentina, Values Club’s Focus on Young Talent
Christ Inao Oulai expressed enthusiasm about joining Fiorentina, emphasizing that the club’s commitment to developing young players aligns perfectly with his goals. The Ivory Coast international recently completed a €26 million transfer from Trabzonspor and participated in his presentation press conference at the club’s training camp in Tuscany.
Oulai stated, “The Fiorentina project is perfect for me as the club improves young players. I jumped at the chance to join this club.” The 20-year-old is eager to learn and enhance his skills in a completely revamped squad under new coach Fabio Grosso. He added, “My life has changed a lot in the last 12 months. I’m proud of myself and I’m really happy to have joined Fiorentina.”
Fiorentina has made significant investments this season, not only bringing in Oulai but also acquiring Arthur Atta from Udinese. Oulai highlighted the youthfulness of the team, saying, “We’re all very young and we’re happy to work together. I’ll always give my all to help the team.”
The young striker also looks up to legendary players from his home country, citing Yaya Toure as a particular inspiration. As Fiorentina aims for improvement in their centenary year, Oulai remains committed. “We’ll give 100% in every game and play with grit and determination to try to go as far as we possibly can,” he concluded.
Oulai’s transition to Fiorentina comes at a time when the club aims to create a strong season after previously battling relegation. He remarked, “I said yes to Fiorentina because it’s an historic club. It is an ambitious club that was interested in me.” With a focused outlook, Oulai and his teammates are gearing up to make the most of the upcoming season.
