Real Madrid Forward’s Exit Opens Door for Liverpool

A Real Madrid star has green lit his exit from the club. Liverpool can now sign a truly world-class forward.

Liverpool are in the market for a new forward, or two. Maybe even three. The Reds struggled badly from wide areas last summer and then lost Mohamed Salah on a free transfer.

To make matters worse, Hugo Ekitike is out long-term and it seems like the club is open to selling Cody Gakpo to Tottenham Hotspur. All in all, things will look different next season.

Bradley Barcola is on the list of possible arrivals, but he’s a left-winger. Signing him doesn’t exactly help the striker-and-right-wing problems that Liverpool have.

One player who would fix those problems is Endrick, who happens to be a left-footed forward that can play both through the middle or wide on the right. He’s also someone Liverpool have monitored for a very long time, ever since he broke onto the scene at 15 in Brazil.

And I can’t stress enough just how good Endrick is. He’s the kind of talent that very rarely comes along, especially if he does become a little more consistent in front of goal.

It was reported in Spain, albeit from a weak source, that Liverpool do retain an interest in Endrick. Now we know that he’s certainly available, too, as was expected.

Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reports that Endrick has told Real Madrid he wants to leave this summer. We imagine that’s on the back of not receiving the kind of feedback he’s after about potential game time this season.

It’s a situation that will naturally spark clubs into life. Endrick has enormous potential and is now willing to move, setting things in motion. That’s in contrast to, say, Eduardo Camavinga – a player in high demand but who refuses to call time on his Real Madrid career.

Endrick’s willingness to do so should call Liverpool into action. He’s exactly the kind of player they’re after right now and fills the massive void in attack that they’ll otherwise battle with all season.
