Real Madrid Finalizes Signing of Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig
After protracted negotiations and unexpected delays, Real Madrid have finally announced the signing of Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig.
The 19-year-old Ivorian winger has signed a long seven-year contract with Los Blancos running until the summer of 2033, the club has confirmed.

“Real Madrid CF and RB Leipzig have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Yan Diomande, who will be linked to our club for the next seven seasons, until June 30, 2033,” the club statement read.
Most expensive signing
While the club statement does not reveal the figures, Real Madrid are understood to have agreed a mammoth deal worth a total €140 million for Diomande.
Of the €140 million, €125 million is understood to be the fixed fee, with the remaining €15 million related to performance-related add-ons, €10 million of which is easy to achieve and the remaining more difficult.
If these variables are achieved, Diomande will become the most expensive transfer in Real Madrid history, surpassing deals for marquee signings like Eden Hazard, Jude Bellingham, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Diomande appeared to be on his way to PSG earlier in the summer, but Real Madrid came out all guns blazing and once they entered the picture, the 19-year-old had his heart set on a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
With his signing now confirmed, Diomande becomes Real Madrid’s sixth first-team acquisition of the summer following Ibrahima Konate, Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Denzel Dumfries, and Carlos Espi.
