Real Madrid Sets Transfer Record with Yan Diomandé Acquisition from RB Leipzig
Real Madrid has made headlines by breaking the club’s transfer record with the signing of promising winger Yan Diomandé from RB Leipzig.
The deal, which followed weeks of negotiations between the two clubs, has been completed for a guaranteed €125 million, with an additional €15 million potentially owed based on performance bonuses.

This transfer marks a significant milestone for the Ivory Coast international, making him the most expensive African player ever and Los Blancos’ highest-ever signing, surpassing the €103 million fee for Jude Bellingham.
Diomandé has completed a contract that extends until the summer of 2031 at the iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
This deal also showcases a remarkable profit for RB Leipzig, who acquired him for just €20 million through his release clause last summer from Leganés.
During his single season with Leipzig, the 19-year-old winger scored 12 goals and provided nine assists.
