Romelu Lukaku Considered for Transfer to Fenerbahce as Saudi Arabia Looms

Reports in Turkey indicate that Romelu Lukaku has once again been presented as a transfer option for Fenerbahce, as he seeks a new club for the upcoming 2026-27 season. However, a move to Saudi Arabia is also emerging as a potential opportunity, according to recent updates.

    Report: Lukaku Offered to Fenerbahce

The 33-year-old Lukaku is entering the final year of his contract with Napoli and following a disappointing performance in the 2025-26 season, he is not anticipated to be the preferred striker for Massimiliano Allegri as the new season approaches.

In Italy, sources report that Napoli is prepared to entertain offers as low as €10 million for the experienced striker, but a departure from the Stadio Maradona has yet to take place.

Atlanta United from MLS had shown interest in the Belgium international, the country’s top goal-scorer, but on Friday, reports suggested that he has also been offered to Fenerbahce once more.

According to TRT Spor’s reporter, Doruk Tecimer, Lukaku has been ‘offered’ to Fenerbahce again. This marks not the first occasion he has been linked to the Turkish club, as he was also proposed during the January transfer window and again about a month ago.

As of now, there have been no formal negotiations involving Fenerbahce, Napoli, or Lukaku’s representatives.

Recent updates suggest Turkey remains a viable option for Lukaku, but he is also weighing possible offers from Saudi Arabia.

Reports in Turkey claim that Romelu Lukaku has once again been offered to Fenerbahce as he seeks a new home for the 2026-27 season, but a move to Saudi Arabia is now also becoming a possibility according to the latest update.

    Report: Lukaku offered to Fenerbahce

Lukaku, 33, is now into the final year of his contract with Napoli and after a disappointing 2025-26 season on an individual level, he is not expected to be Massimiliano Allegri’s first-choice striker heading into the new campaign.

Reports in Italy claim that Napoli are willing to accept offers of just €10m for the experienced centre-forward, but a move away from the Stadio Maradona has not yet materialised.

Over the last few days, MLS side Atlanta United have been linked with a move for Belgium’s all-time leading goalscorer, but reports on Friday claim that he has also been offered to Fenerbahce once again.

According to TRT Spor reporter Doruk Tecimer, Lukaku has been ‘offered’ to Fenerbahce and this is not the first time that he has been proposed to the Turkish giants. In fact, he had also been offered during the January transfer window and once more around a month ago.

As things stand, there have not been any formal discussions between Fenerbahce, Napoli or the player’s agents.

Friday’s update adds that Turkey is a serious option for Lukaku, but that he is also considering potential offers from Saudi Arabia as well.
