Headline: Lorenzo Pellegrini Nears Full Recovery from Tendon Injury

Lorenzo Pellegrini is putting his tendon problem behind him.

After the operation that forced him out of action in early June, the Roma midfielder has been working with a personal fitness trainer over the past few weeks to complete his recovery and gradually regain top form.

According to Il Tempo, a full recovery is not far off. Pellegrini will return to Trigoria on Tuesday, where he will continue his work ahead of his final return to Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.

The number 7 will, however, need a few more weeks before reaching 100% fitness.

The Giallorossi staff does not intend to rush things and will guide the midfielder gradually, aiming to avoid relapses and allow him to return to the pitch in the best possible condition.
