As reported by Jijantes, eight players from La Masia are expected to be included in tonight’s squad presentation. These players are Orian Goren, Hamza Abdelkarim, Xavi Espart, Jordi Pesquer, Alvaro Cortes, Brian Farinas, Iker Rodriguez, and Ebrima Tunkara.

The World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada left Flick with a limited number of first-team players available at the start of pre-season. This scenario pushed him to rely on several academy players during the initial phase of their training.

As senior internationals began returning, Flick progressively trimmed down the academy contingent. Still, seven outfield players and a goalkeeper have continued through the pre-season and will be present at the stadium this evening.

Tonight promises a memorable experience for Hamza, particularly as he prepares to compete against his former team.

Ebrima and Rodriguez to Play Double Roles

Notably, Ebrima will play for the first team today despite having already participated for Barça Atletic against CE Europa earlier this morning at Estadi Johan Cruyff.

It’s unclear if Ebrima will join the on-field action tonight or remain on the bench. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Iker Rodriguez will also be juggling duties today. He recently returned to Barça Atletic and played in the earlier match against Europa.

Coaching staff regard him as a strong candidate for the first-team third-goalkeeper role, in competition with Eder Aller. Consequently, his inclusion during the squad presentation is essential, regardless of his participation in the match.

It remains to be seen whether Ebrima will also get an opportunity to play tonight or whether he will remain on the bench.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Iker Rodriguez will also be pulling double duty on the day. The youngster returned to Barça Atletic less than a week ago and completed the match against Europa earlier today.

However, Flick’s coaching staff and the sporting department see him as a strong candidate for the first-team third-goalkeeper role, where he would compete with Eder Aller.

As such, his presence in the squad as the players are presented to the fans ahead of the new season will be crucial, irrespective of whether he gets any minutes.
