PSG’s upcoming match against Rennes will take place at Roazhon Park, the home ground of Rennes, rather than at Parc des Princes due to the poor condition of the pitch in Paris.
“We were informed on August 17th by Paris Saint-Germain of the condition of the Parc des Princes pitch,” an LFP statement read.
“The LFP proceeded on the morning of August 19 with a visit from a specialized engineering firm and a delegate to conduct a thorough examination of the playing surface. Following this examination, it was determined that the current condition of the pitch did not allow for ensuring the safety of the players.”

PSG has set a asking price of £140m for Bradley Barcola, leaving Liverpool to decide whether they will meet this demand to see if they will pay it.
Meanwhile, Mika Godts, Barcola’s potential replacement, has already joined PSG and is training with the squad after signing from Ajax.
Godts’ arrival indicates that Barcola is unlikely to remain, as he has expressed a desire to leave and will not renew his contract. Liverpool are in talks.
Luis Enrique’s decisions regarding the Trophee des Champions have clarified squad plans for the season ahead very clear.
