El Toro, as he is known, has been heavily linked with a transfer to Barcelona following the club’s unsuccessful negotiations with Atletico Madrid for his fellow Argentine, Julian Alvarez.
The report outlines that the only hurdle remaining for Lautaro’s move to Barcelona is Inter’s approval of the proposal from the La Liga side, a detail that cannot be overlooked.
In Italy, several sources, including Fabrizio Romano, indicate that Inter has not received any formal communication from Barcelona, meaning there is currently no proposal under consideration.
Meanwhile, Inter is not interested in letting go of their captain and leading striker, particularly with the summer transfer window closing in less than ten days.
Even Lautaro Martinez himself stated in May that he has no intention of leaving the Stadio Meazza, sharing, “This is my second home. I can say that I’m really happy and I have a long contract.” He added, “I only think about Inter. My family is happy in Milan, and I have no reason to go elsewhere.
