Chelsea midfielder Dario Essugo (21) is reportedly interested in a season-long loan to BlueCo-owned Ligue 1 club RC Strasbourg, according to L’Equipe. The Portuguese defensive midfielder is in contention for the last of Strasbourg’s three available loan spots from Chelsea, following the arrivals of Filip Jörgensen and Genesis Antwi for the upcoming season. Essugo, who joined the Blues last summer in a €22 million transfer from Sporting CP, could fit seamlessly into the plans at BlueCo.

Essugo aims to strengthen Hugo Oliveira’s squad at Strasbourg, with the team set to kick off their Ligue 1 campaign tonight against Marseille at the Vélodrome. Meanwhile, Mykhaïlo Mudryk has expressed disinterest in joining Strasbourg. The club is also expected to secure permanent deals for two other Chelsea players, Deivid Washington and Omari Kellyman.

On the contrary, Mykhaïlo Mudryk is uninterested in a move to Strasbourg. The latter are also set to welcome two fringe Chelsea players, Deivid Washington and Omari Kellyman, on permanent deals.
