Liverpool Hesitates Over Ibrahim Mbaye’s Transfer Price

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is gearing up for their first match of the season tonight against Rennes, a game that has sparked some controversy. However, the club is also facing significant developments in the transfer market, focusing on potential sales of players Ibrahim Mbaye and Bradley Barcola after completing their incoming transfers.

The situation regarding Mbaye has become particularly complicated due to his high asking price, which has deterred Liverpool from pursuing him further. With little interest from clubs beyond Liverpool and Aston Villa, PSG must carefully consider whether they are pricing the Senegal winger out of a summer transfer.

Liverpool appears to be in a strong position and is not under pressure to rush into a deal. Should they successfully acquire Barcola, it is unlikely they would be inclined to pay a premium for Mbaye as well. Both players have been omitted from the squad for tonight’s match, suggesting that the days ahead will be critical for their futures.

In other news, as the World Cup is widely regarded as a platform for players to showcase their talents for the Ballon d’Or, a former player has controversially nominated a PSG athlete who did not participate in the tournament for the prestigious award. Additionally, PSG has reached an agreement for a young player to go out on loan with plans for a permanent transfer in the future.

Ibrahim Mbaye seemed like he might be on his way to Liverpool – but the Reds are baulking at the price tag on him.

PSG are preparing for their first game of the season tonight – a match against Rennes which has had a fair bit of controversy about it.

But in the background, things are moving fast on the transfer front. With all of their incoming business done, the focus now is on the potential sales of Ibrahim Mbaye and Bradley Barcola.

Mbaye priced out of Liverpool move

While things seem to be inching forward with the Barcola move, the large asking price put on Mbaye by the Parisians seems to have put off the

The problem for PSG is that they want rid of Mbaye, and seem to have washed their hands of him. But apart from Liverpool and Aston Villa there’s been very little interest. PSG are going to have to think very carefully about whether they want to price the Senegal winger out of a move this summer.

Liverpool aren’t desperate – and if they sign Barcola they certainly won’t be ready to overpay for his teammate.

Both of them have been left out of the squad for tonight’s game. It feels like next week will be crucial in both cases.

    In other news…

The World Cup is seen as the crucible where top players prove their worth for the Ballon d’Or – but one former player says a PSG man who wasn’t at the tournament at all should win it.

A loan deal has been agreed for a young PSG player to move out on loan with a view to a permanent move.
