FC Barcelona Confirms Gavi’s Injury Not Serious

In a significant relief for FC Barcelona, the club has announced that Gavi has not sustained a serious injury and will return to training shortly.

“Gavi received a blow to his right knee during yesterday’s match. The medical tests carried out this morning have confirmed that it is only a contusion,” stated the official announcement.

“His return to training is expected in a short time.”

    What happened?

The La Masia midfielder experienced a distressing moment when he left the game against Elche due to what seemed like a knee injury just before half-time. This occurred following a collision with an opponent.

Given Gavi’s history with significant knee injuries over the past couple of seasons, there was considerable concern as he walked off the pitch visibly upset.

Fortunately, the Blaugrana confirmed after tests that the popular player’s injury is nothing more than a minor bruise.

As a result, he is not anticipated to be sidelined for an extended period and is set to resume training very soon.

As such, he is not expected to be out of action for long and is in line to resume training soon.
