Juventus Signs Kamil Grabara on Loan from Wolfsburg
Juventus has finalized the signing of goalkeeper Kamil Grabara from Wolfsburg. The 27-year-old will join the club on loan until June 30, 2027, with an option for a permanent transfer afterwards.
According to the club’s official statement, the loan deal carries an initial fee of €0.5 million, with an additional €0.5 million potentially available based on certain performance-related targets. Should Juventus opt for a permanent transfer, they will need to pay a fee of €11.5 million, to be settled over three financial years.
Grabara joins Juventus to serve as a backup to Guglielmo Vicario, stepping into the spot left vacant by the departures of Michele Di Gregorio, who has moved to Bournemouth, and Mattia Perin, who is heading to Palermo.
The Polish goalkeeper boasts an impressive career record, having won two Danish league titles and a Danish Cup during his three and a half years at Copenhagen, where he also made his UEFA Champions League debut. Most recently, he has been the first-choice keeper at Wolfsburg, making 63 appearances in the Bundesliga over the past two seasons.
Previous to his time in Germany, Grabara was under contract with Liverpool, although he did not make any senior appearances for the club, as his playing time came through loan spells at Aarhus and Huddersfield. He began his professional career at Ruch Chorzow in Poland.
Juventus welcomed Grabara with the message, “benvenuto Kamil,” as he prepares to contribute to the team’s upcoming season.
