Esposito, who developed his skills at the Inter academy, has had various loan spells and has most recently made a mark at Cagliari.
Sassuolo is also close to acquiring another player, with TuttoMercatoWeb indicating that the club is finalizing a move for Rafik Belghali from Verona. The Algeria wing-back has been on Sassuolo’s radar for some time, and an agreement could be reached shortly.
