Rangers Goalkeeper Ivor Pandur Calls for Dominance Ahead of Conference League Clash

Goalkeeper Ivor Pandur has emphasized the importance of leaving nothing to chance as Rangers prepare for their crucial match in the Czech Republic. The Croatian player, who joined Ibrox from Hull this summer, aims to fulfill his dream of playing European football. Having only experienced qualifiers in his career, he now stands on the verge of entering the Conference League proper with Rangers leading Jablonec 1-0 after the first leg.

“It’s a big goal of mine and part of why I joined Rangers. It’s the goal we want to pursue and I think we are all ready for it,” the 26-year-old stated. He expressed eagerness to showcase a performance that would make the team proud.

Describing the upcoming match as a significant occasion, Pandur commented, “It’s a really big game, and I think these moments just bring the best out of everybody. We are fighting for something big, and I think we are all up for it.”

He underscored the team’s intention to dominate the game rather than simply survive, stating, “The focus is on that.” Acknowledging the inherent pressure that comes with being part of a major club, he added, “Expectations should be there and we need to answer to that, all of us.”

“We came here to try to dominate the game, not to survive necessarily so the focus is on that.

“The pressure will always be there and it should be because it’s a massive club. Expectations should be there and we need to answer to that, all of us.”
