Blackpool has secured the return of striker Jerry Yates from Luton Town on a season-long loan and has acquired defender Josh Earl from Barnsley for an undisclosed fee.
Yates, 29, made a significant impact during his previous stint with the Tangerines, scoring 42 goals in 124 league matches from 2020 to 2023. After moving to Luton from Swansea City last August, he struggled to find the back of the net, netting only twice in 22 League One games. He subsequently joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan for the second half of last season.
