Ruben Amorim Focuses on Match Against Bologna Amid Squad Changes
Ruben Amorim emphasizes his commitment to the upcoming match against Bologna, dismissing speculation about the looming Derby della Madonnina against Inter. The game, set to begin at San Siro at 17:30 GMT (18:30 CET), marks the first midweek round of the season, leading many coaches to rotate their squads.
Amorim stated, “For me, this is the most important game we have in the season; it’s the next one, it is three points and a tough opponent, so I am not thinking about Inter,” when speaking to DAZN Italia.
Given the uncertainty around player availability, Amorim remains solely focused on tonight’s contest. “We don’t know which players we are going to have available; we have this game to play, so I am focused on this game,” he added.

The team faces several absences, including Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Adrien Rabiot, Diego Moreira, Samuel Chukwueze, Mario Gila, Matteo Gabbia, Alexis Saelemaekers, and Pietro Terracciano. As such, the coach has positioned Alphadjo Cisse in a trequartista role behind striker Goncalo Ramos, supported by Omari Hutchinson and Davide Bartesaghi.
