Grêmio and Athletico-PR Set for Crucial Clash in Brasileirão
This Thursday, November 29, Grêmio will face Athletico-PR at the Arena in Porto Alegre at 9:30 p.m. (Brasília time) during the final match of Matchday 33 of the 2026 Brasileirão.
Grêmio currently occupies the first relegation spot in 17th place with 34 points and aims for a second consecutive victory to push their archrivals, Inter, who sit just above them with 35 points, into the relegation zone.
On the other hand, Athletico-PR stands in fourth place with 54 points but has not secured a win in their last two matches.
Both Cruzeiro and Fluminense have equal points, but Cruzeiro is positioned higher due to their greater number of wins (16 compared to Fluminense’s 15). Fluminense is ranked lower based on goal difference, with a score of +12 versus +10.
Ahead of this match, Athletico-PR’s coach Odair Hellmann has made some changes to the lineup from their last match, a 1-1 draw with Vitória. Arthur Dias, Léo Derik, and Portilla will replace Bruno, Gilberto, and Jadson, respectively.
Grêmio, coming off a victory against Coritiba with a score of 1-0, sees coach Renato Portaluppi making adjustments as well. He has opted to include João Pedro and Enamorado in place of Diego Caito and Pavón, respectively.
