Headline: Christian Pulisic Inks New Contract with AC Milan Through 2031
Christian Pulisic has signed a new contract with AC Milan that will keep him at the Italian club until the end of the 2030-31 season.
The 28-year-old winger is currently in his fourth season with the Serie A team and has scored two goals in seven matches so far this season with the Rossoneri. Pulisic’s season began slowly as he worked to recover from a leg microfracture he sustained during the United States’ Round of 16 loss to Belgium at this past summer’s World Cup.
“It has been a strange start to the season,” Pulisic stated in an interview with Sky Sports Italia last month. “I was coming back from an injury and I really wanted to play, but it took time. I worked with the team and coach to get back on the field. We are learning his system, how he wants to play. I am very positive about him.”
The contract comes after AC Milan exercised an option this summer to extend Pulisic’s contract through the 2027-28 season. Since transferring from Chelsea in July 2023, the USMNT star has made a significant impact, scoring 44 goals in 141 appearances for the club.
As of now, AC Milan is sitting in fifth place in Serie A with 18 points, preparing for a crucial match this Sunday against Inter Milan. The match marks Derby Day, with Inter Milan currently tied for first in the league alongside Lazio.
Pulisic has shown his best form since joining AC Milan, playing over 130 matches in his initial three seasons in Italy and consistently reaching double digits in goals each season. He notably led the team in scoring during the 2024-25 season with 17 goals.
