Bayern Faces Double Injury Setback Minutes Apart in Match Against Dortmund

Bayern Munich Faces Early Challenges Against Borussia Dortmund

Bayern Munich hosted rivals Borussia Dortmund on Saturday at the Allianz Arena, but the match quickly turned problematic for the home team.

Ismael Saibari suffered an apparent ankle injury and had to exit the game shortly after it began. He went straight down the tunnel after being unable to continue. The situation worsened just two minutes later as Serge Gnabry also fell to the ground, clutching his lower leg. In response, Bayern made substitutions, bringing in Nathaniel Brown and Josip Stanišić to replace Saibari and Gnabry, respectively.

As the first half progressed, Bayern faced another setback when Jobe Bellingham appeared to score his first Bundesliga goal. However, the goal was overturned by VAR, much to the relief of the home side. In a quick counterattack after a misplaced pass from Dortmund, Konrad Laimer eventually put Bayern on the scoreboard, finding the back of the net.
