Roma head to Old Trafford in form
Gian Piero Gasperini’s side enters the match in strong condition after they beat Udinese 5-2 on Saturday, scoring four of those goals within just 37 minutes. This victory places Roma just one point behind Serie A leaders Inter and Lazio.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are facing difficulties under interim manager Michael Carrick, with their recent 2-0 loss to Chelsea extending their winless streak. Earlier in the season, United also suffered a significant 4-1 defeat against Como in the Champions League.
In a concurrent match, Inter, who recently lost 3-1 to AC Milan in the derby, will play against Feyenoord at the same time. Swedish referee Glenn Nyberg is set to officiate that match at De Kuip.
Italian referee Davide Massa will represent Italy in Tuesday’s matches, officiating the game between Barcelona and Aston Villa at Camp Nou, with Fabio Maresca serving as the fourth official.
