Headline: Roma’s Coaching Carousel: Pioli Confirms Interest Amidst Managerial Changes
Before Gasperini took the helm, Roma experienced a tumultuous period, changing managers four times within the span of just two seasons (2023-2025). The list includes Mourinho, De Rossi, Juric, and Ranieri.
The coach from Grugliasco is now working to restore the stability that the club has lost due to questionable decisions and evaluations.

Among the managers under consideration by the Giallorossi was Stefano Pioli, who later accepted a position with Al Nassr.
Pioli, who previously secured a Scudetto with AC Milan before returning to Italy to lead Fiorentina after his time in Arabia, confirmed the club’s interest. He shared his thoughts with Sky Sport, stating, “There were times when everyone called me. Even Roma, but I had just received my contract with Al Nassr and I couldn’t break my word.”
Pioli made his Saudi Arabian debut on September 20, 2024, while Roma had just decided to fire Daniele De Rossi two days earlier and appointed Juric as the new manager.
