Jack Grealish Misses Matches Following Illness and Disciplinary Issues

Jack Grealish did not participate in last month’s match against Arsenal due to illness, and he subsequently missed the next fixture against Newcastle United because of an undisclosed disciplinary matter.
According to a report from The S*n, Grealish was seen drinking in both London and Wilmslow during the week leading up to the Arsenal match.
Reports indicate that the 31-year-old had nights out on Monday and Tuesday, although he did attend training on Tuesday morning. However, by the weekend, he was reported too unwell to face the Gunners.

Since then, Grealish has not played any matches. Everton confirmed he missed last Thursday’s League Cup clash against Newcastle due to a “breach of club discipline.” He also missed the Premier League match against the same team on Monday.
Reports suggest that in the second instance, Grealish did not play due to fitness concerns rather than a club-imposed punishment.
However, there is speculation from The Athletic that his prior absences were linked to him reporting ill following his outings. Besides missing those matches, he also reportedly skipped training sessions during this time.

There appears to be a narrative emerging where these events could be interlinked. Grealish could have enjoyed an extensive night out Tuesday, felt too ill to play against Arsenal or attend practice, faced possible disciplinary action from the club, and ultimately lacked the necessary fitness for following matches due to absences from training.
However, with Everton only providing minimal details regarding the situation, any conclusions remain speculative at this point.
