Zidane Names Pagis in Second France Squad

Zinédine Zidane Reveals Second France Squad for Nations League Matches

Zinédine Zidane announced his second squad as head coach of France on Friday evening, preparing for the upcoming Nations League clashes against Italy on November 12 and Turkey on November 15. The coach maintains continuity by retaining many players from his initial training camp while also incorporating some notable returning faces and a new addition.

Aurélien Tchouaméni and Warren Zaïre-Emery, who were given a break in September, will rejoin the team at Clairefontaine. Marcus Thuram and Malo Gusto, previously omitted from Zidane’s first selection, also make their return.

The squad features a significant surprise with the selection of Pablo Pagis, a striker from Paris FC, who earns his first call-up to France’s senior team.

In addition to this new talent, several players have not been included in the lineup due to injury, including Ousmane Dembélé, Maghnes Akliouche, Jules Koundé, Maxence Lacroix, William Saliba, Manu Koné, and Estéban Lepaul.
