Jersey Bulls End Unbeaten Streak with 3-2 Loss to Hartley Wintney
The Jersey Bulls saw their remarkable 34-match unbeaten run in the Isthmian League come to an end following a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Hartley Wintney.
This loss marked the first setback for the leaders of the Isthmian League South Central since December 30, 2025, after a stretch of 33 league matches without a defeat, which included a goalless draw in the play-off semi-final before they lost on penalties.

The Bulls appeared to have clinched a draw when Toby Ritzema equalized in the 86th minute, making it 2-2.
However, the hosts stunned the visitors by scoring in the fourth minute of stoppage time to secure a dramatic victory.
Jersey manager Elliot Powell, who recently won manager of the month, saw his team fall behind in the 10th minute when Harry Curtis set up a corner kick, leading to Jonny Efedje scoring from close range.
Midway through the first half, Sammy Henia-Kamau had a chance for the Bulls, and ten minutes later he won a penalty after a blocked shot by a Hartley defender. Captain James Queree converted the penalty, bringing the score to 1-1.
Jersey almost took the lead shortly thereafter, but top scorer Lorne Bickley had his header saved by the home goalkeeper.

Just before the half-time whistle, Jersey fell behind again as Efedje scored after his effort from a cross ricocheted off the post and into the net.
In the second half, Fraser Barlow sent a shot just over the bar, while Henia-Kamau had another effort saved shortly after.
With the Bulls applying pressure, it seemed that they had saved their unbeaten run when Henia-Kamau’s shot was parried and Ritzema was quick to score.
However, in a stunning turn of events, Efedje scored his hat-trick in stoppage time with a powerful shot into the top right corner following a swift counter-attack, sealing the host’s victory.
