Hull City manager Sergej Jakirovic expressed his opinion this week regarding Arsenal’s dominance in the Premier League, stating that facing them at the Emirates Stadium poses a significant challenge.
“Yeah,” Jakirovic confirmed. “I think currently they are playing maybe the best football, together with Paris Saint-Germain. They are playing very good.
“I think they are right now, [along with] Manchester City, they are a different force in this league.”

Arsenal, despite not being at their best, managed a narrow 1-0 victory against Jakirovic’s team, even after being unfairly denied a first-half penalty.
After Hull’s defeat, Jakirovic repeated his praise for Arsenal, calling them “the best right now,” and noted that they appeared “quicker” and “stronger in duels.”

While Arsenal’s season has had its challenges, Mikel Arteta’s squad has matched their club record by accumulating 27 points after 10 Premier League matches, equalling their performance from the 2022/23 season.
No team in Premier League history has won all 10 of their initial matches, though several have achieved nine victories and a draw.

Arsenal’s inability to secure the title last season serves as a reminder that a strong start does not guarantee future success.
However, the current outlook shows Arsenal as the formidable team to beat in this year’s Premier League.
