Subsequent years saw Arsenal reviving their fortunes, claiming three FA Cups in four seasons along with three Community Shields, allowing a young O’Neill to witness the team’s resurgence.
O’Neill joined Arsenal in 2024 and began his journey with the club by playing for the u18 side. He has advanced through the youth system, reaching the senior team while earning praise from the coaching staff.

Internationally, O’Neill’s journey includes a progression from the Northern Ireland u16s in 2022 to making his senior team debut in 2026, where he has now appeared four times, including two matches in the competitive Nations League.
Although Tuesday’s match ended in disappointment for Arsenal, the future looks bright for the young talent, who is fulfilling his childhood ambition.
