At only 16 years old, Ilicevic is likely to stay with Eintracht Frankfurt for the foreseeable future, with the club eager to secure a new contract with him.
Ilicevic is open to signing a new deal that would ensure the club receives an adequate financial return upon his departure.

Additionally, the player’s representatives aim to set a reasonable price for his future transfer, facilitating potential acquisitions by clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid.
For now, both Spanish clubs are merely observing Ilicevic’s progress at Eintracht Frankfurt, and he is expected to remain in the Bundesliga in the immediate future.
However, there could be competition for the young German’s signature in the summer of 2027, provided he continues his impressive development.
