In a recent post on X, The Athletic claimed that Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement for Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers. It has been mentioned that the Blues have made a £117m bid that was accepted by the Villans for the English talent.
Rogers’ Impressive Form In The Premier League
Rogers enjoyed a decent run of form at the West Midlands club in the previous campaign when he put in a series of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 23-year-old scored 14 times and secured 12 assists in 55 matches for the Villans last season across all competitions.

The English talent is currently one of the most talented wide players in the Premier League. Thus, it is no surprise that the Blues are targeting a move to bring him to Stamford Bridge this summer.
His current contract at Villa Park will run out in the summer of 2031, potentially allowing Chelsea to sign him on favorable terms later this year.
