Crystal Palace Sign Defender Teyah Goldie on Loan for 2026/2027 Season
Crystal Palace have completed the signing of London City Lionesses defender Teyah Goldie on a loan deal for the 2026/2027 season. The Eagles confirmed the move in an official club press release this afternoon.
The 22-year-old centre-back joins Crystal Palace following her first top-flight campaign with London City Lionesses during the 2025/2026 season. Goldie made six appearances for The Pride in the Barclays Women’s Super League, contributing to the club’s sixth-place finish.
Goldie first joined London City Lionesses in the summer of 2024 on loan from Arsenal. She secured a Barclays WSL2 title during her debut campaign at The Copperjax Community Stadium, leading the club to sign her on a permanent basis following her strong performances in the second tier.
On the international stage, Goldie has represented England across various youth levels, including the Under-23 squad.
Following her arrival at Crystal Palace, Goldie said: “I’m really excited, to be honest. I’m obviously familiar with South London after the last couple of years, and I love it. It’s become home, so I’m delighted to be here.”
Goldie represents the second signing for Crystal Palace during the current summer transfer window.
